What is a Yantra
Yantra also known as mandala, is a Sanskrit word that describes the sacred geometries that are designed and available to us, with the purpose to activate peace and harmony to all that choose to work consciously with them and be assisted in our spiritual growth.
Yantras have their equivalent mantras, also known as single sound syllables embedded in them, to further assist us in our awakening. A combination of both sound vibration and the study of the aesthetic visual form of the Yantra, is a very potent agent for change in all levels and can give us what we need to fulfil our potential.
Yantras are also used symbolically to depict the key components at the very centre of our life, placing there whatever we personally hold of value, our family, health, relationships, financial life. This as a way of personalising and prioritising all that is dear to us. The original art-works tend to be of great spiritual beauty and artistry and are often created by Buddhist Monks in meditation.
